Facility

We located our new factory in Handan, south of the Hebei  province (China); the chosen area is a strategic location and Ferrotech rise in the middle of a foundry industrial district that can easily satisfy all the needs of raw materials.

We possess technologically advanced systems and machines to ensure both small and large productions.

Our new facility already reach a dimensions that easily allow us to produce millions pieces at year and we own large properties which are used for production and storing goods.

MOULDING DEPARTMENTS

The moulding departments cover a big area of the entire plant; counting on three main warehouses to arrange DISA, Squeeze and Handy castings, it also has several departments to provide quality checking, mould repairing and many other services.
Our current capacity of enameled finished goods, ready for the customers, is over 4,000 tons at year.

 

DISA
Description: The DISA moulding system is a mechanical and hydraulic system that has been developed to set a new standard for foundry equipment.

The main benefits are high quality castings, high production capacity and more stable production process.



Capacity: The Disa line today’s capacity is approximately 150 tons at month.

 

Macchine SQUEEZER e HANDY
Description:The squeeze is a method of making a cast product, includes heating pig iron to a melting temperature, so that the alloy is in a liquid state, and then injecting the alloy into a die casting machine cavity.
This process allows a better control on the injection pressure and during all the production process.

The Squeeze is chosen when the customers require a higher quality than a traditional Handy Moulding process can offer, and a smaller minimum order quantity  than what is usually requested by a Disamatic production.

Capacity: With three departments working intensively, the current capacity is approximately 60 tons at month per the Squeeze production plant and 120 tons at month per the Handy production plant.

ENAMEL DEPARTMENT

Descrizione: Our enamel department is made up by three new independent mechanically enameling lines.  

 

Using this apparatus for enameling cast iron products, the product to be enameled is mechanically conveyed to a preheating tunnel furnace where it remains sufficiently to reach a desired temperature.


We recently upgraded the lines with enameling spray machines that mechanically distribute the enamel on the entire product ensuring a better quality.


Once the spraying is complete, the goods conveyed first in to an enamel firing furnace and finally in to a cooling station.

Capacity: With all the three lines fully working and 50 dedicated workers, the current capacity reaches 360 tons at month.

OTHER DEPARTMENTS

In the plant, connected to the enamel department, we located other three main departments to arrange all the services needed to complete all the finishing requested by the customers and to arrange the goods for the shipments.


TRIMMING department:
This department counts on dozens of different machines as abrasive wheel machine and drilling machine; with already one hundred dedicated workers, this department has been recently under improvement to reach a higher level of efficiency.

 

 

 

 

 


 

SHOTBLASTING department:
The shot blasting consists of attacking the surface of the raw castings produced by the foundry with one of many types of shots, usually sand, to remove the imperfections on the surface.

 

The current capacity of this department is enough to cover all our needs of raw goods casted. .

 

 



PACKING department:
This department is in charge of the final quality check and arranges the load of the C/N before the final shipment.

 

We always try to provide the higher standard of packing, changing it according to each customer’s requests and needs .
